About
Creating Hikaru Utada’s Science Fiction Tour was a fever dream in the best sense.
Under the impeccable creative direction of Jason Ardizzone-West, a monolithic other-worldly landscape takes over this 110’ wide arena stage, only possible in Japanese arenas. Initially inspired by retro machines, 9x cubed video columns arise from CNC carved foam dunes.
Tasked with bringing this world to life, F9 brought out all the stops. The result is a hybrid installation piece / traditional concert design. This project was a labor of love for the entire F9 team and epitomizes commitment and collaboration.
